HM owner and digital media designer Erik Hutson, is an avid multimedia technologist that has over 16 years of professional experience in multiple industries including Broadband Telecommunications, Broadcast Media, and Government.

Mr. Hutson’s passion for the cinema arts first led him to pursue a career in film and television.  After graduating from Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL he initially began his career as a video editor and producer, but soon after expanded his scope to web based technologies.

By the age of 23, he had successfully developed and sold his first web based application to Knox County Schools. Three years later he was hired by KCS to revamp their cablecast television station. Over the next six years he had established and administered the TV station’s production, engineering, programming, and website operations.

In 2012, Mr. Hutson relocated to Northern Virginia after accepting an exciting contract opportunity with Verizon Business. His knowledge and expertise with online video technologies helped Verizon meet their project deadlines for the Verizon FiOS video streaming mobile app.
